अग्निर्ज्योतिरह: शुक्ल: षण्मासा उत्तरायणम् | तत्र प्रयाता गच्छन्ति ब्रह्म ब्रह्मविदो जना: || 24||
नेपाली अर्थ
ज्योतिर्मय अग्नि, दिनको प्रकाश, शुक्ल पक्ष र उत्तरायणका छ महिना—यी मार्गहरूबाट शरीर त्याग गरेर गएका ब्रह्मवेत्ता (ब्रह्मलाई जान्ने) मानिसहरू ब्रह्मलाई नै प्राप्त गर्छन्।
English meaning
Those who know the Supreme Brahman pass away from the world during the influence of the fiery god, in the light, at an auspicious moment of the day, during the fortnight of the waxing moon, or during the six months when the sun travels in the north.
